LaToya Dodson

LaToya served Upstate AHEC for 11 years as a Health Careers Program Coordinator and transitioned to Regional Workforce Development Manager in 2026. She has extensive experience in the following areas: workforce development, college/career planning, job training and career research services.  LaToya also has vast experience with SCDEW and a passion for utilizing labor market data to assist customers in need of job placement services.  She has a diverse skillset that was acquired during her career journey with Greenville County Schools, Prisma Health, Urban League of the Upstate, SC Department of Employment and Workforce, and Upstate AHEC. LaToya has a MS in Higher Education Specialization – Integrated Studies from Capella University and an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from SC State University – Orangeburg, and is certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator.

LaToya enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, shopping.
