Upstate AHEC is hosting an Association of Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) affiliate formation kickoff meeting on March 20^th at the Greenville One Center in downtown Greenville.  The ANPD is an organization that advances the specialty practice of nursing professional development for the enhancement of healthcare outcomes. The ANPD sees professional development as a specialty of nursing practice and is defined by standards, based on research, and critical to quality patient and organizational outcomes.

An affiliate is a local organization of the ANPD.  The affiliate will allow professional development nurses to come together and share best practices, receive continuing education offerings, and will allow the Upstate Affiliate to receive benefits from the national ANPD.

All nurses are welcome to attend the first meeting.
