The Bennie M. Pettit Scholarship Program was established in 2017 in recognition of the long years of service provided Mrs. Pettit as the Director of Continuing Professional Development – Live Programming at Upstate AHEC. The program was established to promote a broad range of professional health occupations by awarding scholarships for attendance at institutions of higher learning.

S.T.E.A.M: Careers in Health is a free, virtual career exploration experience for students and parents of students grades 9^th and above. Practicing professionals will provide insight into health-related careers and their experiences in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM). Each session will spotlight educational paths, experiential opportunities, and resources to support student success. Learn more about the program here.
