Effective Wednesday, September 1, 2021, Upstate AHEC is converting any live, in-person programs planned through January 31, 2022 to a virtual format. This includes our Continuing Professional Development and Health Careers Program Departments. Unfortunately, there are some instances where courses cannot be offered virtually and will be cancelled. All registered participants will be notified any cancellations. This was not an easy decision to make but leans on the side of extreme caution as we try to remain vigilant and help prevent the spread of COVID-19. As the number of new coronavirus cases continue to soar in our area, we can sympathize with the feeling of exasperation, and want to do everything possible to keep our speakers, participants, and employees safe and healthy.
We encourage you to continue to take advantage of continuing education through our AHEC U Online Learning Platform and our available webinars. We ask that you take a moment to update your Upstate AHEC/AHEC U account profile, email address, and phone number to ensure that you receive any urgent announcements and/or any reschedule dates.
We will communicate updates via email, Constant Contact, phone calls (if possible), and on our website. We are continuing to assess the changing pandemic situation daily and will do everything we can to keep you informed about scheduled programming. Thank you, as always, for choosing Upstate AHEC with your continuing education needs.
