Upstate AHEC HPS Coordinators, Nancie Stover-Nicholson and Rahha Larijani, work closely with multiple health professions degree programs and community providers to assist in the placement and support of students representing a variety of health disciplines including, but not limited to, medicine, physician assistant, nursing, physical therapy, pharmacy and social work.  The services provided vary according to the curriculum requirements and goals of each academic program but may include the following:

• Identification of community-based preceptor and clinical rotation sites
• Assistance in locating housing resources
• Student orientation to the community
• Assistance with community health projects
• Clinical site visits and preceptor support
• Interprofessional Service Learning Projects
• Technology Support
