STUDENT HOUSING

AHEC staff may be able to assist students and health professions schools in identifying housing opportunities within rural and medically underserved areas for community-based rotations. For example, the AHEC House (see below) is available on a first come, first served basis for South Carolina health professions students seeking housing in the Seneca/Oconee/Anderson area. However, because there is limited space and funding available to support this service, students and schools are encouraged to select rotations where students already have access to housing.
