Purpose: To provide participants with information to increase their ability to define professionalism, identify barriers/challenges to professionalism, and ways to project a professional image
OBJECTIVES
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Define and identify professionalism.
- Identify barriers/challenges to creating a culture of professionalism.
- Discover how to project a positive and professional image everyday.
TARGET AUDIENCE All Healthcare Professionals
FEE $50 for non members; No Fee for AHEC members;
There will be a $20 fee for those AHEC members needing pharmacy or pharmacy tech credit.
CREDIT 0.3 CEUs, 3 clock hours-AHEC, Social Work, Counselors and Therapists, Respiratory Therapists.
Upstate AHEC is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the South Carolina Nurses Association an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Upon successful completion of this program, attendees will receive 3.6 contact hours.
This CE activity is approved for 3.6 contact hours for Physical and Occupational Therapists.
Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians:
South Carolina Pharmacy Association is approved by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmaceutical education. ACPE Universal Program Number is 171-999-09-052-L01-P and 171-999-09-052-L01-T. This program provides 3.0 contact hours (0.3 CEUs) of continuing education credit for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Continuing education statements of credit will be distributed to program attendees within 4 weeks of this program. Non-SCPhA members will be assessed $15 for statement of credit reprinting.
