(Pre-requisite, completion of KTA approved KT1 and KT2 courses) The Kinesio Taping® Advanced Whole Body Course combines KT1 and KT2 coursework with extra lab time for attendees to practice their skills on a variety of clinical applications. Upon completion of this course and prerequisite KT1, KT2 seminar, attendees can request and take the exam to be eligible to become a Certified Kinesio Taping® Practitioner (CKTP). Note: Students can take the exam but will not be eligible to become a CKTP until they graduate.
NOTE: Participants must submit proof of completing KT 1 & KT 2 course in order to attend KT 3.
Objectives:
- Combine KT1 and KT2 coursework
- Practice Kinesio Taping® applications in a lab setting
- Discuss some of the more advanced techniques of the Kinesio Taping® Method
- Describe how the Kinesio Taping® Method can be tailored to specific conditions, professions or applications by each instructor
Target Audience
Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapists Assistants, Athletic Trainers, Doctors of Chiropractic, this course is intended for licensed healthcare professionals only

About the Instructor
Nikki Stafford, MS, OTR/L, CKTI, graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1999 with a Masters in Occupational Therapy. She has worked in various settings with her focus being on the Adult and Geriatric Stroke and TBI population. She is Neuro-IFRAH certified and is a Certified Kinesio Taping® Instructor (CKTI). Nikki has been utilizing the Kinesio Taping® Method since becoming certified in 2003 and is currently assisting the Kinesio Taping® Association with their D1 Workshops and Seminars. She is one of the Managers of Therapies for Roger C Peace Rehabilitation Hospital of the Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center.
Credit
Occupational Therapists: This program has been approved for 9.6 contact hours of continuing education for Occupational Therapists. SC AHEC has presumptive approval as a provider of continuing education for Occupational Therapists by the SC Board of Examiners for Occupational Therapy.
Physical Therapists: This program has been approved for 9.6 contact hours of continuing education by SC AHEC under its accreditation by the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Board of Examiners for Physical Therapy.
Certified Athletic Trainers – Kinesio Taping® Association International (KTAI) is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) to offer continuing education (CE) for Certified Athletic Trainers. This program has been approved for a maximum of 8 hours of Category A CE. Certified Athletic Trainers are responsible for claiming only those hours actually spent participating in the CE activity. BOC Approved Provider Number: P2293.
Doctors of Chiropractic: Application has been submitted to the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Board of Chiropractic Examiners for approval.
