Nancie Stover-Nicholson joined Upstate AHEC as a HPS Coordinator in 2007. As HPS Coordinator, Nancie is a liaison between medical students and their clinical placements and preceptor assignments. She serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Laurens, Greenwood, Saluda, Edgefield, McCormick and Abbeville Counties.
Prior to joining Upstate AHEC, Nancie was the Program/Quality Coordinator with a teen pregnancy prevention program in Greenville County. She has also been a Program Coordinator with a teen pregnancy program in Union County and a Supervisor at a Greenville area youth group home.
Nancie is a 2003 graduate of Clemson University (GO TIGERS!) with a Bachelors degree in Sociology. In 2008, she obtained her Masters degree in Public Health from the University of South Carolina.
Nancie is a member of the South Carolina Public Health Association and the Junior League of Greenville. In her spare time, you can usually find Nancie volunteering with the Junior League, at a Clemson University sporting event, or shopping.
