Before joining Upstate AHEC as Center Director in January 2003, Candace served as Statewide Director of the Massachusetts AHEC Program. Her earlier professional experiences include Director of Educational Services at Richland Memorial Hospital, Corporate Director for Human Resource Development In a multi-hospital system based in South Florida, an attorney in private practice, and various undergraduate and medical school teaching responsibilities.
Candace has a Bachelor of Arts from Lander College, a Master of Education from the University of South Carolina and a Juris Doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law.
